CHAP. 328.— An Act For the erection of tablets or markers upon the Revolutionary battle field of White Plains, State of New York.May 18, 1926.[[H. R. 3990](/us/bill/69/hr/3990).][[Public, No. 243](/us/pl/69/243).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,White Plains, N. Y.Tablet authorized on site of Revolutionary battlefield at. That the Secretary of War is hereby authorized to erect and maintain at some suitable point upon the battle field of White Plains, in the State of New York, tablets or markers to indicate the position of the Revolutionary Army then under the immediate command of General Washington upon that momentous occasion, and to place thereon a suitable inscription.
Sec. 2. Amount authorized for.*Post*, p. 877.There is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, so much of the sum of $2,500 as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act. Approved, May 18, 1926.
