CHAP. 31.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the Brownsville and Matamoros Rapid Transit Company for construction of a bridge across the Rio Grande at Brownsville, Texas. February 26, 1926.[[H. R. 4032](/us/bill/69/hr/4032).][[Public, No. 24](/us/pl/69/24).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Rio Grande.Brownsville and Matamoros Rapid Transit Company may bridge, Brownsville, Tex. That the consent of Congress be, and is hereby, granted to the Brownsville and Matamoros Rapid Transit Company, a corporation organized under the laws of Arizona, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto, at a point suitable to the interests of Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.navigation, across the Rio Grande, at Brownsville, Texas, in accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved *Proviso*.Consent of Mexico required.March 23, 1906: *Provided*, That the consent of the proper authorities of the Republic of Mexico to the construction, maintenance, and operation of the bridge shall also be obtained.
Sec. 2. Amendment. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, February 26, 1926.
