CHAP. 293.— An Act Authorizing the Secretary of the Treasury to sell certain land to the First Baptist Church, of Oxford, North Carolina.March 2, 1927.[[S. 5744](/us/bill/69/s/5744).][[Private, No. 426](/us/pvtl/69/426).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Oxford, N. C., First Baptist Church.Sale of strip of laud to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed, in his discretion, to sell to the First Baptist Church, of Oxford, North Carolina, a small triangular-shaped strip of land along the southern boundary of the Federal building site in said city, one foot and six inches by forty feet, more or less, at such time, and upon such terms as he may deem to be to the best interests of the United States; to convey the land to the duly authorized representatives of said First Baptist Church by the usual quitclaim deed and to deposit the proceeds of such sale in the Treasury of the United States as a. miscellaneous receipt.
