CHAP. 285.— An Act To amend section 1, Act of March 4, 1909 (Sundry Civil Act), so as to make the Chief of Finance of the Army a member of the Board of Commissioners of the United States Soldiers’ Home.May 11, 1926.[[S. 1484](/us/bill/69/s/1484).][[Public, No. 213](/us/pl/69/213).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,United States Soldiers’ Home.Vol. 35, p. 1004, amended. That section 1, Act of March 4, 1909 (Thirty-fifth Statutes at Large, page 1004), making appropriations for sundry civil expenses, be amended to read as follows:
" “*Provided*, That hereafter the Board of Commissioners of theBoard of Commissioners.Composition of. United States Soldiers’ Home shall consist of the following-named officers of the Army: The Surgeon General, The Adjutant General, the Quartermaster General, the Chief of Engineers, the Judge Advocate General, the Chief of Finance, and the governor of theChief of Finance added.President of board, etc. home; and the president of said board, who shall be the senior in rank of the members thereof, shall submit annually to the Secretary of War, for transmission to Congress, a full statement of the financial and other affairs of the home for the preceding fiscal year.
