CHAP. 259.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the commissioners of the county of Cook, State of Illinois, to reconstruct the bridge across the Grand Calumet River at Burnham Avenue in said county and State. March 2, 1927. [[H. R. 16165](/us/bill/69/hr/16165).] [[Public, No. 676](/us/pl/69/676).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the consentGrand Calumet River.Cook County, Ill., may reconstruct bridge across, at Burnham Avenue. of Congress is hereby granted to the commissioners of the county of Cook, State of Illinois, and their successors and assigns, to reconstruct the existing bridge and approaches thereto across the Grand Calumet River at Burnham Avenue in the county of Cook, in the State of Illinois, with such changes in clearances as may be approved by the Chief of Engineers and the Secretary of War, and to maintain and operate the same as a free bridge, all inConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act isAmendment. hereby expressly reserved. Approved, March 2, 1927.
