CHAP. 247.— An Act For the relief of J. W. Neil.March 1, 1927.[[S. 179](/us/bill/69/s/179).][[Private, No. 416](/us/pvtl/69/416).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Compensation for losses, under Lever Act. That the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to J. W. Neil, of Ogden, Utah, the sum of $7,697.53 as compensation for and in full satisfaction of any claim such J.
W. Neil may have for losses suffered by reason of the libel of a carload of sugar belonging to him on May 21, 1920, by a United States marshal under color of theVol. 40, p. 276; Vol. 41, p. 297. Act entitled “ An Act in provide further for the national security and defense by encouraging the production, conserving the supply, and controlling the distribution of food products and fuel,” approved August 10, 1917, as amended. Approved, March 1, 1927.
