CHAP. 242.— An Act To authorize and direct the Comptroller General to settle and allow the claims of E. A. Goldenweiser, Edith M. Furbush, and Horatio M. That the Comptroller General of the United States he, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to settle and allow the claim of E. A. Goldenweiser in the sum of $600, and the claim of Edith M. Furbush and Horatio M. Pollock in the sum of $2,000, for services rendered the Department of Commerce in the preparation of monographs on census subjects notwithstanding provisions of existing law.
