CHAP. 235.— An Act For the relief of August Michalchuk.February 28, 1927.[[S. 521](/us/bill/69/s/521).][[Private, No. 406](/us/pvtl/69/406).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Lizzie Michaichuk,Payment for personal injuries to guardian of. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to August Michalchuk as guardian of his infant daughter, Lizzie Michalchuk, the sum of $3,000 for injuries sustained by his daughter, Lizzie, an infant now about six and one-half years old, who without negligence on her part or on the part of her parents, was run over, July 4, 1920, by a United States mail truck numbered 2290, in charge of Joseph Tembone, causing a compound fracture of the left leg and severe lacerations of the forehead, with bruises and contusions covering the left side of her body.
Said payment to be taken in full and final settlement of any claim against the United States by both the said August Michalchuk and Lizzie Michalchuk. Approved, February 28, 1927.
