CHAP. 233.— An Act For the relief of Florence Proud.May 3, 1926.[[S. 2091](/us/bill/69/s/2091).][[Private, No. 36](/us/pvtl/69/24).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Stales of America in Congress assembled*,Florence Proud.Payment to, for death of husband. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, and in full settlement against the Government, to Florence Proud, widow 1468 of Thomas Proud, formerly a carpenter employed in the construction of the Coast Artillery cantonment, Fort Winfield Scott, California, and who was killed while inside the Fort Scott Reservation, the sum of $5,000.
