CHAP. 227.— An Act Releasing and granting to the city of Chicago any and all reversionary rights of the United States in and to the streets, alleys, and public grounds in Fort Dearborn addition to Chicago.May 3, 1926.[[H. R. 9964](/us/bill/69/hr/9964).][[Public, No. 171](/us/pl/69/171).] *Be it enacted by the Senate awl House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Chicago, Ill. That any and all reversionary right, title, or interest which the United States nowGranted reversionary rights of United States to streets, etc., on Fort Dearborn addition. has in and to any and all of the streets, alleys, or public grounds in Fort Dearborn addition to Chicago in the southwest quarter of fractional section 10, township 38 north, range 14 east of the third principal meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, and any and all right, title, or interest which the United States may hereafter acquire in or to any of said streets, alleys, or public grounds or any part thereof by virtue of the vacation or alteration of the same, or any part thereof, or by reason of any change in the use thereof, or any additional burden placed thereon, be, and the same hereby are, released and granted to and vested in the city of Chicago, to be held by it upon the same tenure and subject to the same conditions and limitations on which it now holds other streets, alleys, and public grounds within its boundaries dedicated by private individuals.
