CHAP. 192.— An Act Providing for the promotion of a professor at the United States Military Academy.April 27, 1926.[[S. 2274](/us/bill/69/s/2274).][[Public, No. 154](/us/69/pl/154).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Army.Promotion of officer at Military Academy, authorized. That any officer of the United States Army now holding the position of permanent professor at the United States Military Academy, and who on July 2, 1921, would have become entitled to his promotion to a colonelcy had he remained in the line of the Army and who on that date had completed more than three years’ duty as permanent professor shall have the rank, pay, and allowances of a colonel in the Army, and *Proviso*.No back pay, etc.that the said rank shall date from July 2, 1921: *Provided*, That no back pay and allowances prior to the passage of this Act shall accrue.
