CHAP. 174.— An Act To provide for the payment of the amount of an adjusted-service certificate to Irving D’Forrest Parks, beneficiary designated by Corporal Steve McNeil Parks, deceased.February 23, 1927.[[S. 5084](/us/bill/69/s/5084).][[Private, No. 376](/us/pvtl/69/376).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and Blouse of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Corporal Steve McNeil Parks.Payment of amount of adjusted-service certificate to beneficiary of.That the director of the United States Veterans’ Bureau is authorized and directed to pay out of the adjusted-service certificate fund in the same manner and effect as if an adjusted-service certificate had been in full force and effect on the date of the death of Corporal Steve McNeil Parks 1787 the sum of $940 to Irving D’Forrest Parks, brother of said Corporal Steve McNeil Parks, deceased veteran of the World War, and by him, according to the records of the Secretary of War, designated as beneficiary in an application received by the Secretary of War on March 21, 1925, assigned the number A2368189, and lost by some undetermined agency.
