CHAP. 161.— An Act To authorize certain officers of the United States Navy to accept from the Republic of Chile the Order of Merit, first class, and the Order of Merit, second class.February 17, 1927.[[H. R. 9319](/us/bill/69/hr/9319).][[Private, No. 371](/us/pvtl/69/371).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That Rear Admiral Decorations.Designated officers of Navy may accept, from Chile.William C.
Cole, Captain William R. Sayles, Captain Yancey S. Williams, and Captain Joseph K. Taussig, all of the United States Navy, be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept from the Republic of Chile the Order of Merit, first class, and that Lieutenant Commander Marshall Collins, of the United States Navy, be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept from the Republic of Chile the Order of Merit, second class, which have been tendered to each of said officers, through the Department of State, in appreciation of services rendered the said Republic of Chile.
