CHAP. 16.— An Act To authorize the department of public works, division of highways, of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to construct a bridge across Palmer River.February 8, 1926.[[H. R. 6234](/us/bill/69/hr/6234).][[Public, No. 11](/us/pl/69/11).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Palmer River.Massachusetts may bridge, at Swansea and Rehoboth. That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the department of public works, division of highways, of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to construct a bridge and approaches thereto, across Palmer River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, in the towns of Swansea and Rehoboth in said Commonwealth, said bridge constituting a part of the highway known as the Providence-Fall River State Highway, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigableConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, February 8, 1926.
