CHAP. 144.— An Act For the relief of Joseph F. Becker.April 14, 1926.[[H. R. 7348](/us/bill/69/hr/7348).][[Private, No. 8](/us/pvtl/69/8).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Navy.Joseph F. Becker may be appointed chief boatswain retired. That the President of the United States is hereby authorized to appoint Joseph F. Becker, who while serving as a lieutenant commander, United States Naval Reserve Force, was found by a naval retiring board to be permanently incapacitated for active service by reason of physical disability incurred in the line of duty as the result of an incident of the service, a chief boatswain on the retired list of the Navy with such retired pay as is now or may hereafter be allowed a commissioned warrant officer whose record has been certified as creditable after the completion of twelve years commissioned service: *Provided*,*Proviso*.No prior retired pay.
That the said Joseph F. Becker shall not be entitled to such retired pay prior to the date of the enactment of this Act. Approved, April 14, 1926.
