CHAP. 116.— An Act For the relief of Henry S. Royce. February 12, 1927. [[H. R. 8685](/us/bill/69/hr/8685).][[Private, No. 347](/us/pvtl/69/347).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary Alexander J. Thompson.Payment to, for personal injury.of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Henry S. Royce, of Tacoma, Washington, out of any money in the Treasury of the United States not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $3,340, to compensate him for damages and losses sustained in November, 1914, when cattle owned by him were slaughtered on account of the prevalence of foot-and-mouth disease on the order of the Bureau of Animal Industry, United States Department of Agriculture.
