CHAP. 11.— An Act To amend section 2 of the Act entitled “An Act to incorporate the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.”February 5, 1926.[[S. 780](/us/bill/69/s/780).][[Public, No. 6](/us/pl/69/6).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,District of Columbia.Daughters of American Revolution. That section 2 of the Act entitled “An Act to incorporate the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution,” approved February 20, 1896, as amended, is amended to read as follows:
" “Sec. 2. That said society is authorized to hold real and personalProperty holding may be increased.Vol. 29, p. 9.Vol. 38, p. 955, amended. estate in the United States, so far only as may be necessary to its lawful ends, to an amount not exceeding $5,000,000, and may adopt a constitution and make by-laws not inconsistent with law, and may adopt a seal. Said society shall have its headquarters or principal office at Washington, in the District of Columbia,” " Approved, February 5, 1926.
