CHAP. 99.— Joint Resolution Authorizing the Director of the United States Veterans’ Bureau to grant a right of way over United States Veterans’ Bureau hospital reservation at Knoxville, Iowa. January 26, 1925.[[S. J. Res. 61](/us/bill/68/sjres/61).][[Pub. Res., No. 45](/us/bill/68/pubres/45).] Whereas it is desired to close the public highway passing through the United States Veterans’ Bureau Hospital reservation at Knoxville, Iowa, and to open a new public highway over a different portion of said reservation:
Now, therefore, *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Knoxville, Iowa.Iowa, etc., granted right of way across Veterans’ Bureau Hospital grounds at. That the Director of the United States Veterans’ Bureau is hereby authorized to grant to the State and municipal authorities for use as a public highway so much of said reservation as may be necessary therefor; and to make, execute, and deliver all needful conveyances.
The director is further authorized in his discretion to receive on the part of the United States a grant of the land covered by the highway to be closed. Approved, January 26, 1925.
