CHAP. 74.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the city of Chicago to construct a bridge across the Calumet River at or near One hundred and thirtieth Street in the city of Chicago, county of Cook, State of Illinois. R. 6925](/us/bill/68/hr/6925).] [[Public, No. 61](/us/pl/68/61).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the consent ofCalumet River.Chicago, Ill., may bridge.
Congress is hereby granted to the city of Chicago, a corporation 30organized under the laws of the State of Illinois, and its successors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Calumet River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near One hundred and thirtieth Street Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.in the city of Chicago, county of Cook, and State of Illinois, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. Amendment. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, March 21, 1924.
