That the Secretary of the Navy be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to reimburse civilian employees at the naval torpedo station, Newport, Rhode Island, for the value of personal effects lost, damaged, or destroyed through the fire which occurred in the light drill *Proviso*.Fund available.Vol. 42, p. 787.department of said station on February 20, 1923: *Provided*, That the expenditures herein authorized shall be paid from the unexpended balance of the appropriation “ Pay, miscellaneous, 1923.
