CHAP. 581.—An Act For the relief of the Turner Construction Company, of New York City. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary Turner Construction Company.Payment to, for expenses of suit incurred by Army action.of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to the Turner Construction Company of New York City, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $27,029.65, for legal and other expenses incurred by said company in defending a suit brought against the same by the Central Railroad of New Jersey for depositing dredged material upon the lands of said railroad company at Caven Point, New Jersey, during the World War; said material being deposited at the administrative direction of the Constructing Quartermaster of the War Department during the construction by the Turner Construction Company for the United States of the Army Supply Base at South Brooklyn, New York, under contract dated May 6, 1918.
