CHAP. 543.— An Act Granting certain lands to the State of Washington for public park and recreational grounds, and for other purposes. March 4, 1925.[[H. R. 10770](/us/bill/68/hr/10770).][[Public, No. 618](/us/pl/68/618).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of Americain Congress assembled, * That upon paymentPublic lands.Granted Washington, for public park. therefor at the rate of $1.25 per acre, the Secretary of the Interior1284 be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to issue patent, as hereinafter limited, to the State of Washington for the following-describedDescription. lands:
The northeast quarter of the southeast quarter and lot 7, section 32, township 22 north, range 22 east of the Willamette meridian, containing eighty-two and thirty-six one-hundredths acres, more or less; such lands to be used and occupied solely for public*Provisos*.Mineral deposits re-served. park and recreational purposes: *Provided*, That there shall be reserved to the United States all oil, coal, or other minerals in the land, and the right to prospect for, mine, and remove the same: *Provided further*,Reversion for non-user.
That if the grantee shall fail to use the land for park or recreational purposes or shall devote the same to other uses the title thereto shall revert to the United States and the lands shall be restored to the public domain upon a finding of such failure by the Secretary of the Interior.
