CHAP. 51.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the construction, maintenance, and operation of a bridge across the Pearl River between Saint Tammany Parish in Louisiana and Hancock County in Mississippi. R. 4808](/us/bill/68/hr/4808).][[Public, No. 40](/us/pl/68/40).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the consentPearl River.Louisiana, etc., may bridge, between Saint Tammamy Parish, La., and Hancock County, Miss. of Congress is hereby granted to the State Highway Commission of Louisiana in cooperation with the proper authorities of the State of Mississippi, or of Hancock County in the State of Mississippi, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Pearl River at a point suitable to the interests of Location.navi20gation between the Parish of Saint Tammany in the State of Louisiana and the County of Hancock Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.in the State of Mississippi, approximately four and one-half miles northeast of Pearl River station in the State of Louisiana and five miles south of Nicholson in the State of Mississippi and in accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters.” approved March 23, 1906.
