CHAP. 48.— An Act To authorize the construction of a bridge between the Boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens, in the city and State of New York. March 11, 1924.[[H. R. 3265](/us/bill/68/hr/3265).][[Public, No. 37](/us/pl/68/37).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Newtown Creek. That the city of New York is hereby authorized to construct, maintain, and operate 19a bridge and approaches thereto across Newtown Creek, at a pointNew York City may bridge, Boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens. suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Maspeth Avenue between the Boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens in the city and State of New York, one end of said bridge to be in the Borough of Brooklyn and city of New York, and the other in the Borough of Queens, city of New York, in accordance with the provisions of the ActConstruction.Vol. 34, p. 84. entitled:
