CHAP. 474.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress for the construction of a bridge across the Grand Calumet River on the north and south center line of section 33, township 37 north, and range 9 west of the second principal meridian in Lake County, Indiana, where said river is crossed by what is known as Kennedy Avenue. March 3, 1925.[[H. R. 11953](/us/bill/68/hr/11953).][[Public, No. 592](/us/pl/68/592).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the consentGrand Calumet River.Lake County, Ind., may bridge, between Hammond and East Chicago. of Congress is hereby granted to the board of commissioners of the County of Lake.
State of Indiana, to construct and maintain and operate a bridge across the Grand Calumet River at a point suitable 1216to the interests of navigation on the north and south center line of section 33, township 37 north, range 9 west of the second principal meridian in Lake County, Indiana, where said river is crossed by what is known as Kennedy Avenue, in North Township, being on the city boundary line between Hammond and East Chicago, Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.in accordance with the Act of Congress entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges across navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. Amendment. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, March 3, 1925.
