CHAP. 41.— Joint Resolution Making appropriation for contingent expenses of the United States Senate, fiscal year 1924. February 27, 1924.[[S. J. Res. 34](/us/bill/68/sjres/34).][[Pub. Res., No. 7](/us/bill/68/pubres/7).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,Senate.Appropriation for Inquiries and investigations. That the sum of $125,000 is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the fiscal year 1924, for expenses of inquiries and investigations ordered by the Senate, including compensation of stenographers to committees at such rate as may be fixed by the Committee to Audit and Control the Contingent Expenses of the Senate, but not exceeding 25 cents per hundred words.
