CHAP. 342.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the counties of Marion and Florence, in the State of South Carolina, to construct a bridge across the Peedee River at or near Savage Landing, South Carolina. June 7, 1924.[[S. 3355](/us/bill/68/s/3355).][[Public, No. 264](/us/68/pl/264).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the consent ofPeedee River.Marlon and Florence Counties, S. C., may bridge, Savage Landing.
Congress is hereby granted to the counties of Marion and Florence, in the State of South Carolina, or their assigns, to construct, main-648tain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Peedee River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.near a point known as Savage Landing, South Carolina, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. Amendment. The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, June 7, 1924.
