R. 9495](/us/bill/68/hr/9495).][[Public, No. 475](/us/pl/68/475).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the SecretaryPublic lands.Granted Oregon for fish hatchery. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to issue982 patent, as hereinafter limited, to the State of Oregon for the following-describedLocation. land:
The northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of section 2, township 39 south, range 22 east, of the Willamette meridian, in the State of Oregon, for use of said State in maintaining*Provisos*.Minerals reserved. and operating thereon a fish hatchery: *Provided*, That there shall be reserved to the United States all oil, coal, or other minerals in the land, and the right to prospect for, mine, and remove theReversion for non-user. same: *Provided further*, That if the State of Oregon shall, for a period of two years, fail to use the land for fish hatchery purposes, or shall devote the same to other uses, the title thereto shall revert to the United States, and the lands shall be restored to the public domain upon a finding of such failure by the Secretary of the Interior.
