CHAP. 297.— An Act For the relief of sufferers from earthquake in Japan. February 24, 1925.[[S. 3171](/us/bill/68/s/3171).][[Public, No. 447](/us/pl/68/447).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the actionJapanese earthquake, 1923.Action of Executive, in Issuing Army supplies, etc., for sufferers from, approved. of the Executive in directing the issue, and the issuance of Army supplies out of the current and reserve stock for use of the Army, and in directing payment for supplies and for services rendered in connection with the shipment and transfer of such supplies, including all other extra expenditures, of a value not exceeding $6,017,069.03 for the relief of sufferers from the earthquake in Japan on964Credits in accounts allowed.
September 1, 1923, is approved. Credit for all such supplies so issued and funds so disbursed in connection therewith and with relief tendered by the Army shall be allowed in the settlement of the accounts of the officers of the Army. Approved, February 24, 1925.
