CHAP. 284.— An Act To authorize the Secretary of the Treasury to sell the appraisers’ stores property in Providence, Rhode Island. February 21, 1925.[[H. R. 7911](/us/bill/68/hr/7911).][[Public, No. 440](/us/pl/68/440).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Providence, R. I.Appraisers’ stores in, to be sold, etc. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized, in his discretion, after advertising to sell at public auction the property at the southeast corner of South Main Street and Custom Avenue, in the city of Providence, Rhode Island, known as the appraisers’ stores property, in such manner and upon such terms as he may deem to be to the best interests of the United States; and to convey such property to the purchasers thereof by the usual quitclaim deed; the proceeds of such sale to be deposited in the Treasury as a miscellaneous receipt.
