CHAP. 256.— An Act Authorizing the granting of war risk insurance to Major Earl L. Naiden, Air Service, United States Army. February 17, 1925.[[S. 1370](/us/bill/68/s/1370).][[Private, No. 175](/us/pvtl/68/175).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Director Major Earl L. Naiden, Army.War risk insurance granted to.of the United States Veterans’ Bureau be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to accept the application for war risk insurance of Major Earl L.
Naiden, now on active duty in the Air Service, United States Army, who during the late war was on detached active service in Italy, and was not notified of the opportunity to secure war risk insurance within the period of one hundred and twenty days fixed by section 401, article 4 of the Act entitled “An Act to amend an Vol. 40, p. 409.Act entitled ‘An Act to authorize the establishment of a Bureau of War Risk Insurance in the Treasury Department,’ approved September 2, 1914, and for other purposes,” approved October 6, 1917: *Provisos*.Time for applying.*Provided*, That application for such insurance be made within sixty 1572Not retroactive, etc.days after the approval of this Act: *And provided further*, That this Act shall have no retroactive effect and shall confer no right to insurance against injuries or disability heretofore suffered by Major Naiden.
