CHAP. 195.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the State of Illinois, and the State of Iowa, or either of them, to construct a bridge across the Mississippi River, connecting the county of Carroll, Illinois, and the county of Jackson, Iowa. May 26, 1924.[[H. R. 7063](/us/bill/68/hr/7063).][[Public, No. 144](/us/pl/68/144).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the consentMississippi River.Illinois and Iowa may bridge, Savanna, III., to Sabula, Iowa. of Congress is hereby granted to the State of Illinois, and the State of Iowa, or either of them, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Mississippi River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near the city of Savanna, in the county of Carroll, Illinois, and the city of Sabula, in the county of Jackson, in the State of Iowa, in accordanceConstruction.Vol. 34. p. 84. with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act isAmendment. hereby expressly reserved. Approved, May 26, 1924.
