CHAP. 19.— Joint Resolution Providing for the control and eradication of the European fowl pest and similar diseases in poultry. December 24, 1924.[[S. J. Res. 159](/us/bill/68/sjres/159).][[Pub. Res., No. 41](/us/68/pubres/41).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,European fowl pest.Amount authorized for eradicating. *That* not to exceed $100,000 of the appropriation of $3,500,000, contained in the Second Deficiency *Ante*, p. 682.Appropriation Act, fiscal year 1924, approved December 5, 1924, for the eradication of the foot-and-mouth disease and other contagious or infectious diseases of animals, is hereby made available to enable the Secretary of Agriculture to provide means to control and eradicate the European fowl pest and similar diseases in poultry: *Provisos*.Time available.Provided, That the sum herein granted shall remain available for No payment for poultry condemned.the purposes of this Act until June 30, 192G:
Provided further, That no part of this sum shall be used for the payment of indemnities for condemned poultry. Approved, December 24, 1924.
