CHAP. 170.— An Act To amend the Act entitled “An Act making appropriations to supply urgent deficiencies in the appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1909,” approved February 9, 1909. February 9, 1925.[[H. R. 11956](/us/bill/68/hr/11956).][[Public, No. 387](/us/pl/68/387).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Philippine Islands.Vol. 35, p. 615, amended. That the Act entitled “An Act making appropriations to supply urgent deficiencies in the appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1909,” approved February 9, 1909, is amended by adding after the end of the first paragraph under the title “War Department” a new paragraph to read as follows:
Collection, etc., of taxes imposed by legislature, legalized, etc.That the taxes imposed by the Philippine Legislature in act numbered 3065, approved March 16, 1923, and act numbered 3183, approved November 27, 1924, are hereby legalized and ratified, and the collection of all such taxes made under or by authority of said acts of the Philippine Legislature is hereby legalized, ratified, and confirmed as fully to all intents and purposes as if the same had by prior Act of Congress been specifically authorized and directed.
