CHAP. 167.— An Act To diminish the number of appraisers at the port of Baltimore, and for other purposes. February 9, 1925.[[H. R. 7918](/us/bill/68/hr/2811).][[Public, No. 384](/us/pl/68/384).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That there shall Customes.Appraiser at Baltimore, Md., limited to one.Vol. 41, p. 883.be at the port of Baltimore one appraiser of merchandise instead of two as now provided, and the said appraiser at Baltimore shall receive a salary of $4,500 per annum, payable out of the appropriation for expenses of collecting the revenue from customs.
Such parts of the Act of August 24, 1912, chapter 355, section 1, Inconsistent laws repealed.Vol. 37, p. 434.Thirty-seventh Statutes, page 434, and the reorganization of the customs service made by the President thereunder as are inconsistent with the provisions or this Act and all other laws and parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed. Approved, February 9, 1925.
