CHAP. 163.— An Act To exempt from taxation certain property of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Washington, District of Columbia. May 21, 1924.[[H. R. 837](/us/bill/68/hr/837).][[Public, No. 125](/us/pl/68/125).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the propertyDistrict of Columbia.Daughters of American Revolution exempt from tax on designated lots in.Vol. 39, pp. 514, 1009.Vol. 42, p. 846. situated in square numbered 173 in the city of Washington, District of Columbia, described as lots 8, 9, and 10, inclusive, occupied by the Daughters of the American Revolution, be, and the same is hereby, exempt hereafter from all taxation, so long as the same is so occupied and used, subject to the provisions of section 8 of theVol. 19, p. 399.
Act approved March 3, 1877, providing for exemptions of church and school property, and Acts amendatory thereof. Approved, May 21, 1924.
