CHAP. 146.— An Act To amend section 2 of the Act approved February 15, 1893, entitled “An Act granting additional quarantine powers and imposing additional duties upon the Marine Hospital Service.” February 7, 1925.[[S. 2232](/us/bill/68/s/2232).][[Public, No. 365](/us/pl/68/365).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That section 2 of Quarantine.Vol. 41, p. 1149, amended.Requirement for consular bill of health.the Act approved February 15, 1893, entitled “An Act granting additional quarantine powers and imposing additional duties upon the Marine Hospital Service,” as amended February 27, 1921, is hereby amended by inserting at the end of the first paragraph thereof a new paragraph, as follows:
" “The provisions of the preceding paragraph shall not apply to Not applicable to northern frontier porks.vessels operating exclusively in trade between foreign ports on or near the northern frontier of the United States and ports in the United States; but the Secretary of the Treasury is hereby authorized, Regulations for, may be established.when, in his discretion, it is expedient for the preservation of the public health, to establish regulations governing such vessels.” " Approved, February 7, 1925.
