CHAP. 108.— An Act To amend section 84 of the Penal Code of the United States. April 15, 1924.[[S. 2146](/us/bill/68/s/2146).][[Public, No. 87](/us/pl/68/87).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Criminal Code.Vol. 35, p. 1104, amended. That section 84 of the Act entitled “An Act to codify, revise, and amend the penal laws of the United States,” approved March 4, 1909 (Thirty-fourth Statutes, page 1088), be, and the same is hereby, amended so as to read as follows:
" “Sec. 84. Bird and animal reserves.Punishment for hunting, taking eggs, etc., on.Animals added. Whoever shall hunt, trap, capture, willfully disturb, or kill any bird or wild animal of any kind whatever, or take or destroy the eggs of any such bird on any lands of the United States which have been set apart or reserved as refuges or breeding grounds for such birds or animals by any law, proclamation, or Executive order, except under such rules and regulations as the Secretary of Agriculture may, from time to time, prescribe, or who shall willfully injure, molest, or destroy any property of the United States on any such lands shall be fined not more than $500, or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
