CHAP. 1.— Joint Resolution Authorizing payment of the salaries of the officers and employees of Congress for December, 1923, on the 20th day of that month. December 18, 1923.[[H. J. Res., No. 1](/us/bill/68/pubres/1).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Congressional officers, etc., to be paid December salaries December 20, 1923.Senate and the Clerk of the House of Representatives are authorized and directed to pay to the officers and employees of the Senate and House of Representatives, including the Capitol police, the Legislative Drafting Service, and employees paid on vouchers under authority of resolutions, their respective salaries for the month of December, 1923, on the 20th day of that month.
