CHAP. 70.— An Act To make a preliminary survey of the Calaveras River in California with a view to the control of its floods. August 18, 1921. [[H. R. 1269](/us/bill/67/hr/1269).] [[Public, No. 54](/us/pl/67/54).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of WarCalaveras River, Calif. Survey, etc., of, for flood control. Vol. 39, p. 441. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a preliminary survey to be made of the Calaveras River in California with a view to the control of its floods, in accordance with provisions of an Act entitled “An Act to provide for the control of the floods of the Mississippi River and the Sacramento River, California, and for other purposes,” approved March 1, 1917.
