CHAP. 54.— An Act Providing for a preliminary examination of the Yazoo River, Mississippi, with a view to the control of its floods. July 29, 1921. [[H. R. 5651](/us/bill/67/hr/5651).] [[Public, No. 43](/us/pl/67/43).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Yazoo River, Miss. Examination to control floods of. Vol. 39, p. 948. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a preliminary 147 examination to be made of the Yazoo River, Mississippi, with a view to the control of its floods, in accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled “An Act to provide for the control of the floods of the Mississippi River and the Sacramento River, California, and for other purposes,” approved March 1, 1917.
