CHAP. 53.— Joint Resolution Authorizing and directing the accounting officers of the Treasury to allow credit to the disbursing clerk of the Bureau of War Risk Insurance in certain cases. July 26, 1921. [[H. J. Res. 31](/us/bill/67/hjres/31).] [[Pub. Res., No. 11](/us/bill/67/pubres/11).] Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, War Risk Insurance. Disbursing clerk credited with advance payments. Vol. 40, p. 409.
That for such reasonable time as may be fixed by the Secretary of the Treasury, but not extending beyond the fiscal year ending June 30, 1922, the accounting officers of the Treasury are hereby authorized and directed to allow credit in the accounts of the disbursing clerk of the Bureau of War Risk Insurance for all payments of insurance installments heretofore or hereafter made under the provisions of article 4 of the War Risk Insurance Act in advance of the verification of the deduction on the pay rolls or of the payment otherwise of all premiums.
