CHAP. 51.— An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the county of Winnebago, the town of Rockford, and the city of Rockford, in said county, in the State of Illinois, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Rock River. January 31, 1923.[[H. R. 13474](/us/bill/67/hr/13474).][[Public, No. 400](/us/pl/67/400).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Rock River.Winnebago County and Rockford, Ill, may bridge.
That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the county of Winnebago, the town of Rockford, and the city of Rockford, in said county, in the State of Illinois, to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto across the Rock River, at a point suitable 1221to the interests of navigation, on the extension of Auburn Street in said city of Rockford, and in section 13, township 44 north, range 1 east, of the third principal meridian, in the county of Winnebago Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.and State of Illinois, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, January 31, 1923.
