CHAP. 351.— An Act Authorizing the Secretary of the Interior to issue patent to Lassen County, of California, for certain lands, and for other purposes. September 20, 1922.[[H. R. 10554](/us/bill/67/hr/10554).][[Public, No. 317](/us/pl/67/317).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Public lauds.Granted to Lassen County, Calif., for county uses. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to issue patent to Lassen County, California, for the following tract of public land, to wit:
The northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of section four, township thirty-seven north, range eleven east, Mount Diablo base and meridian, Susanville land district, in the State of California, Payment.upon payment therefor to the Secretary of the Interior for the Government of the United States the full sum of $1.25 per acre, which patent shall be issued upon the express condition that Lassen County shall *Provisos*.Reversion for nonuser, etc.use said tract of land for county uses and purposes only: *Provided*, That whenever said lands cease to be used by said county for county uses and purposes only, or are attempted to be sold or conveyed, then, in that event, title to said lands and the whole thereof shall revert to Mining rights reserved.the United States: *Provided further*, That such patent shall contain a reservation to the United States of all gas, oil, coal, and other mineral deposits that may be found in such land, and the right to the use of the land for extracting the same.
