CHAP. 339.— An Act For the relief of Cora T. Bering. September 18, 1922.[[H. R. 5668](/us/bill/67/hr/5668).][[Private, No. 109](/us/bill/67/pvtl/109).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Cora T. Dering, of Sullivan County, New York, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $5,000, in full settlement of all claims against the United States for the loss by death of her husband, John Dering, caused by carelessness in the use of a rifle or other firearm issued to Private John T.
Kelley, while on duty as guard in the service of the United States at Callicoon, New York, on or about the 7th day of April, 1917. Approved, September 18, 1922.
