CHAP. 336.— An Act For the relief of Edward J. Schaefer. September 18, 1922. [[H. R. 1723](/us/bill/67/hr/1723).] [[Private, No. 106](/us/pvtl/67/106).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of theEdward J. Schaefer.Payment to, for death of wife. Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money not otherwise appropriated, to Edward J. Schaefer the sum of $5,000 in full settlement of damages for the death of his wife, Ruth Stone Schaefer, who was accidentally shot by a soldier in the service of the United States at Camp Alexander, Virginia, on July 7, 1919.
