Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Vivian Hood, the sum of S2,500, in full compensation against the Government for injuries sustained as a result of being struck by a fragment of shell May 14, 1920, while witnessing a demonstration party from the Chemical Warfare Service at the State Fair Grounds, Des Moines, Iowa, Approved, September 18, 1922.
