CHAP. 326.— An Act For the relief of Welch, Fairchild and Company (Incorporated). September 18, 1922.[[H. R. 2620](/us/bill/67/hr/2620).][[Private, No. 96](/us/pvtl/67/96).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Welch, Fairchild and Company.Payment to, for collision damages. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of $4,752.63 to Welch, Fairchild and Company (Incorporated), of Manila, Philippine Islands, in satisfaction of all claims arising out of damages sustained on account of loss of cargo of sugar as a result of the sinking of a vessel known as Lighter Numbered Ten caused by collision with the United States Navy tug Wompatuck at Pier Numbered One, in the harbor of Manila, Philippine Islands, on May 16, 1918, the responsibility for said collision having been placed by a naval board of investigation on the naval vessel.
