CHAP. 31.— An Act To authorize the construction of a bridge over the Columbia River at a point approximately five miles upstream from Dalles City, Wasco County, in the State of Oregon, to a point on the opposite shore in the State of Washington. January 21, 1922.[[S. 2776](/us/bill/67/s/2776).][[Public, No. 130](/us/67/pl/130).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Columbia River.Dalias Oregon-Washington Toll Bridge Company may bridge.*Post*, p. 1256.
That The Dalles Oregon-Washington Toll Bridge Company, a corporation of the State of Oregon, its successors and assigns, be, and they are hereby, authorized to construct, maintain, and operate a bridge and approaches thereto Location.over the Columbia River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation approximately five miles upstream from Dalles City, Wasco County, in the State of Oregon, in either section twenty-nine or thirty, township two north of range fourteen east, Willamette meridian, ana from the point of beginning on the Oregon shore of said river, thence running in a northerly direction to a suitable landing in the State of Washington and on the Washington side of said Columbia River, and all in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to Construction.Vol. 34, p. 84.regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March 23, 1906.
Sec. 2. Amendment. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, January 21, 1922.
