CHAP. 294.— An Act For the relief of Seth J. Hams, Jimmie Lou Martin, Mary Holloman, and William Henry Coleman. August 25, 1922. [[H. R. 2694](/us/bill/67/hr/2694).] [[Private, No. 87](/us/pvtl/67/87).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Fort McPherson. Ga. Payments for injuries from explosion at. Vol. 39, p. 742. That the United States Employees’ Compensation Commission be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to pay out of the Employees’ Compensation Fund, provided for under the Act of September 7, 1916, to the following-named persons the sums designated as compensation for personal injury and death suffered through the explosion of a certain shell fired by the student officers of Fort McPherson, Atlanta, Georgia, on the south side of Kenesaw Mountain, Cobb County, Georgia, on August 8, 1917:
Seth J. Harris. Guardian of minor children of.To the guardian of the two surviving minor children of Seth J. Harris, $20 per month each until they shall reach the age of eighteen years, monthly compensation to commence from the date of the accident. Jimmie Lou Martin. For death of husband.To Jimmie Lou Martin, on account of the death of her husband, Charlie Martin, the sum of $35 per month until her remarriage or death, and $3.50 additional per month for each of her six minor children; and in the event of the remarriage or death of said Jimmie Lou Martin payments on account of said minor children shall be paid to their guardian or guardians until such time as they shall have reached the age of eighteen years, respectively, monthly compensation to commence from the date of the accident. 1597 To Mary Holloman, on account of the death of her husband, JamesMary Holloman.
For death of husband. Holloman, the sum of $35 per month until her remarriage or death, and $3.50 additional per month for each of her two minor children; and in the event of the remarriage or death of said Mary Holloman payments on account of said minor children shall be paid to their guardian or guardians until such time as they shall have reached the age of eighteen years, respectively, monthly compensation to commence from the date of the accident.
